My cousin was suspicious because there weren't many reviews but they were all 5 star so she thought friends may have written nice reviews, but, here I am giving it a 5 out of 5. They have only recently opened so not many reviews yet...and the food is so fresh, so bright, so balanced in flavor, so perfect to the tooth, slow cooked tender meats, veggies and roots and lentils with perfect individual textures that it warrants all 5 stars. This is hand made food that is stunningly beautiful and delicious. The environment was clean, small, and very basic. This restaurant is in a stripmall off Decatur between Desert Inn and Twain. They aren't trying to hide this fact. They focused on the food and the friendly service. There were small tables pushed together to fit the required diners group size which gave mall food court/ lunch counter vibes. One simple 2 top sat outside. The only decoration was a display of this special coffee they make, some red painted walls, a very large TV, and a printed vinyl sign of the business name with logotype. Would recommend.

Ethiopian soul food is truly amazing special kitfo with a refreshing watermelon mint lemonade top of that great customer service and soothing atmosphere .I got my second home ❤️

Amazing restaurant. If you want wonderful taste with bold colors and smells, just walk into this restaurant and you won't want to leave. From the appetizers to the meats to the vegetables - I have never had this fresh and tasteful food. If you want an experience of a lifetime, try the coffee when your meal is done. It starts with raw beans and you get to smell the roasting all over the restaurant. The smell is only a piece of the experience as you will be served with a beautiful pitcher while the wonderful brown liquid hits your cup. Just wait. You won't believe the experience you will have. I rarely, rarely write a review - but you have to try this restaurant. You won't be disappointed. I'm heading there right now to buy just one more loaf of the bread to have with my dinner tonight.

The food is SO full of flavor. Got a sampler of practically everything. Z was very welcoming and hospitable and friendly. He was very eager to help us experience the taste of Africa. Very quick to make suggestions and find out what appealed to us. We will definitely be going back again!!!
